The evening will feature a special presentation, The History of Power in Tacoma, by Chris Staudinger, founder of Pretty Gritty Tours. Through stories of Tacoma Light & Water, the Cushman Project, and the people behind them, Staudinger will explore how public power helped shape Tacoma and the Pacific Northwest.
Evening Schedule
Celebrate Tacoma's Past. Support Its Future.
Historic Tacoma is the only nonprofit organization solely dedicated to preserving Tacoma's historic architectural heritage through advocacy, education, and community engagement. From researching historic places and supporting landmark nominations to hosting educational programs and sharing local stories, our work depends on community support.
While admission is free, the Annual Meeting involves considerable production costs, including venue expenses, insurance, refreshments, and speakers, alongside the dedication of our board and volunteers.
Please register through Eventbrite to help us plan seating and refreshments. Free tickets are available, and attendees who wish to support our mission may also select a donation ticket.
Additional ways to support Historic Tacoma:
Every contribution helps Historic Tacoma continue protecting the historic places and neighborhoods that define our city's identity. Whether you come to learn, connect with fellow history enthusiasts, or explore a remarkable building, we hope you'll join us on November 14.
